| Activity
These activities are designed to help you consolidate some of the concepts introduced
in this lesson. They are essential steps in planing an online course. If you are taking the
course for credit, they may be required.
- Write down your policy for the course on each of the three issues raised in the
section "Technical Issues". Then address the six issues raised in the section
called "Preparation". Decide, too, whether you will make these decisions alone,
or whether you will include the class in some or all of the decision making
process.
If you are taking this course as a group, discuss and compare your responses
with others in the group.
- Write down a description of students who will be taking your course, the
differences in the way they will be accessing your course, and your assessment
of their skill levels. If you are taking this course as a group, discuss and
compare your responses with others in the group.
